It's the usual smoke and mirrors stuff. One of the comments is:

In fact, this is probably true: most scientists would agree that man-made global warming was potentially very hazardous. The 'inconvenient fact' that is not mentioned is that most scientists are not convinced that man-made global warming is actually occurring.
I predict a few of those lefty bastards will be strangled in THEIR beds as they sleep! The rest of us have had enough of them and their "religion" is now on the verge of collapse!!
It distresses me that despite the wild popularity of James Delingpoles bloggs on the subject, the Daily Telegraph still refuses to give editorial space to the story of the decade.

Our "Climate Czar" has blown off the e-mails and is sticking with the 2,500 scientists that tout global warming. (The inconvenient truth is that there's a list of 31,486 American scientists that signed a petition rejecting global warming - I linked to it in my latest post). Prez BO is ignoring the e-mails, too, and heading off to Copenhagen to sell the U.S. down the river.
What's amazing is that the Australian senators are quitting their positions over the climate change laws. Cheers to the Aussies...I wish our Congress would follow suit...ha, ha, ha...I can dream, can't I?

Edgar, I saw a comment that wisely pointed out that if man managed to burn all of Earths carbon based fuels over two or three centuries the planet would soon rebalance itself ( with or without humanity still around ) so really it is a question of whether we burn it all off in two hundred years or three. and then we will just have to think again.

Conservative Lady ( it's Tsarina btw ) 'blown off' means something rather rude over here but I understand you to mean 'ignored' in American ?
Take a good look at those 2,500 'scientists' which Al Gore has casually inflated to 4,000; the initial list includes scientists but also general academics, researchers, journalists, and probably interns too but, more importantly, scientists who took part in the research but disagreed with its' conclusions !.
It was all documented here some years ago.

I went to the link you provided. It's absolutely despicable that the scientists who took part in the research, but disagree with the idea of man-made global warming, have been "blown off"...oops...you know what I mean, ha.
CL, Tsarina is just the feminine of Tsar, Russian adaptation of Ceasar ( taken from Constantinople rather than Rome ).
