I can't believe it, but the video you posted about the snow in DC, Philadelphia, etc. showed a mall (Deptford Mall). That mall is about 5 minutes away from where I live in the summertime in NJ. What a coincidence.
Anyway...I didn't see any global warming in any of those videos. And as far as the snow in Washington, I saw a great photo (on another blog) of the Capitol building with the title, "Hell Freezes Over". How fitting.

It's no surprise that you only want to live in NJ for the summer if it gets like that in winter, happily I live, by choice, in the part of England that rarely has snowfalls, we even get palm trees which always surprises American visitors.

Thanks Banned your sentiment is returned. In Scotland we say 'aw the best at the bells' meaning good wishes when the bells strike the New Year on Hogmanay. It's got nothing to do with Bells whisky, but I would agree that after having drunk vodka all my life, you don't get a hangover like you do with Whisky. But whatever, have a good one.
