Bent Council corrupts and intimidates its own staff
Council policy was to cancel any tickets that were questioned by the recipients (10% of 3,000) because they knew they were wrong in the first place but, of course, most people simply pay up.
The three who resigned had initially been trained by the Police as proper Traffic Wardens but were reasigned to the Council when it took over responsibility for parking issues.

Such greedy little politicians.
Good for them if they genuinely resigned rather than follow illegal instructions. Many would have just obeyed orders. Some would have enjoyed doing so.
Nice to see the council officials getting caught out for a change.
