That's what gets me, banned.
Why does it take a 77 yr old granny to show a street full of young men what needs to be done to deal with scum. They were weighed down with sledgehammers and bikes for crying out loud, with helmets obscuring their vision. Shooting fish in a barrel springs to mind.

There was a former Police Officer on Jermy Vines Radio 2 show this afternoon (which is how I heard about this vid), he was roundly slating the Traffic Warden who 'disgraced his uniform' by likewise failing to intervene.
At least some of them got stuck in towards the end though I expect that they now live in fear of being sued for breaching the robbers 'uman rights.
I gather that 4 of the 6 have been arrested but since they didn't actually steal anything they will get away with a slap on the wrist.

That Lady should recieve an award or at least the store should do something for her being they were cowards as well as the passersby.
Hi Chris, yes the store should do something to thank her but as for a reward the most she can expect might be about ££500 "from public funds" if so directed by the trial Judge.
Actually, banned, knowing the UK she is more likely to get 6 months and/or a £5000 fine for aggravated assault.
Good on her, though. Most of us would have stood back...not least because chances are nowadays they'd be drugged up, armed and dangerous.
We need her in Washington ... Kick some Senate arse.

That was a great video. They picked it up out here, and several shows thought it was a comedy set up!
That gran was very brave. The coppers who stood around and did nothing were lazy jerks. Some "security guards" do that out here too. People are always getting beat up at train stations and stuff, and they just turn and walk away. Sadly, it's everyman/woman for himself.
Out here too, I'm sure these robbers would wind up sueing the granny too! Everything is so fucked up. She should get a BIG reward from the jewelry store, on the QT, of course.
That lady had a lot of guts going after those crooks. She even went back at them after they fell off of the bike. I hope the store shows their appreciation.
Hi EYE, Jeremy Vine was getting his BBC Radio 2 audience all stirred up to take Tahir Square type action had anyone suggested she be prosecuted.
Seems she has form for this kind of stuff and is credited locally with ridding her block of flats of prostitutes and drug dealers.

To be honest the robbers look like a bunch of sissies.
Especially the one in the white helmet and 'Parka' jacket who dances back and forth like a little girl.
Yo Conservative Lady The store staff were lamentable in their reaction, while they pushed the button to lower the security blinds they failed to even lock the door. I await their attempts to block Youtube footage of this because they think it is "negative".
Frankly, I am wondering why she is not being prosecuted for assault?
