The map just goes to show that drawing straight lines in the desert doesn't make any sense. Borders along ethnic lines must be the way forward. You'd end just about every civil war in Africa.

Funny video. I posted it at TCL FB with a h/t to you.
Thanks for the comment on Anjem Choudary. It prompted me to do a little digging and I came up with photos of him boozing it up years ago. I updated my post using your comment as a catalyst for my update.
Have a nice day...it's 2:44 AM here...bout time I hit the sack.

Glad I didn't go to bed as soon as I said, or I wouldn't have seen the video you left over at TCL. Thanks, and it is now added to the post. Pretty soon I'm going to have to put you on the payroll, ha. Good night.

ASE, I've never understood the slavish post-colonial demand that all borders are sacrosanct even when they are just plain daft.
Sudan-South sudan is the only African case I can think of where an ill-designed state has uncoupled itself though only after years of civil war.

You are more than Welcome TCL.

Choudray is well known over here but sadly enjoys the protection of the European Court of Human Rights which is why I hope that the US does let him in to spout his bile and maybe he'll say something to get himself arrested.

Sorry to keep you up late and hope you had a good nights sleep.

Interesting map there Banned.i have to agree with Eye but go further than the continent of Africa to draw those lines.

Indeed the entire Middle East and much of the Balkan states in Europe would benefit from Eyes suggestion.

Sorry for my honesty, but more Muzloons should fight Muzloons.

I'm with Odie, Banned, all these savages should have at it with eachother.

That video is funny! Hope your week is going well.

I sympathise with Odie, but you've got Christian tribes in the area too.

Ethiopia was converted to Christianity in the 4th century. The recent Sudan split was between the Muslim north and the Christian south.

When that split is finalised in July I know which half won't be exporting nutters who want us dead and which half to keep a close eye on.

Hi Chris, that map exposes many things; note where the Med dips in, the tribal name Mugharbah which is the tribe of Abdelbaset Mohmed Ali al-Megrahi, the Lockerbie bomber disgracefully released by our disgusting former socialist administration and it will be interesting to see how much of Mandelsons Mystery Millions came from the coffers of Gaddafi and his horrible sons.

No apologies required Woodsie but, in my view, there are good Moslems and bad Moslem fuckers who need killing.

Hi Bunni; Gaddafi and his tribe O' filth are indeed savages but the same cannot be said for the myriad of innocent Gypos who have fled the terror to the wrong border and find themselves in Tunisia. Brave Daves offer to send in civilian planes to repatriate them to Egypt strikes me as being the ideal way of showing how caring and sharing we are without actually getting involved.

" 'USS Ponce' heading for Libya" ? What sort of name is that for a warship !?!

Too true ASE, what chance Nigeria going the same way as Sudan (to everybodys benefit) ?
