The Wedding

I was planning a softly softly final approach to the Royal Wedding but Oh What Now! blog brought my attention to this.

I think that everyone in Britain will have seen it, its been on telly and everything but it might amuse our overseas friends. Presented as a practise run it is an advertising spoof with body doubles of incredible likenesses and bears many reruns to spot the details.

Kate, Camilla, Prince Harry and the Archbishop of Canterbury are particularly good, all that is missing is David Cameron in his dreary lounge suit.

A particular welcome to How Yea fixed and congratulations on becoming my 100th follower.

I've seen this several times, now, and it's still fun to watch and of course they played it on HIGNFY the other night and took the piss - royally!

Hyi Woodie You are not the only one, it's had about 10 million hits, 26,000 likes and 3,800 dislikes. Some cruel wag has commented "3,800 Americans thought it was real".

Hi Barking old mate; I also caught it on the office TV, some daytime news programme; all they were interested in was whether the Kate lookalike was making lots of money.
Of course if it was anybody else other than the Royal Family being depicted the professionl "I'm offended" wankers would be out in force claiming to speak on their behalf.

Yeah Banned I thought it was regally funny and well done to the advertising bods for my 'couldn't give a fuck' day.

Still I am told by the MSM that it would bring a bob or two to the UK coffers...which will be taken away with lost productivity as we all bask in a work free holiday...enjoy.

Something for everybody Mr Yin, the republicans can think of it as a genuine attack on the trappings of Monarchy while then Royalists can lay back knowing how to laugh at themselves.
