Egypt, 1905 moment?

In 1905 Imperial Russia was beset by revolt and revolution, caused and affected by imperialist war with Japan. Can't remember all the details because I'm not an historian. The crowds were satisfied that the Army had not killed many of them, some policies had changed, a free press emerged, constitutional reforms were put in place, various Tsarist ministers came and went and 'democracy' was installed with the Parliamentary Duma.

But their victory was a sham and it required further revolution in 1917 to begin to oust the Tsarist order. What emerged was a kinda Liberal Democracy but, such was the wrath of the Russian people following the denial of their 1905 uprising that this was not enough. Kerensky and the Liberal middle class 'revolutionaries' were swept aside by not just Socialists but by Lenin and Trotsky who represented a tiny extremist faction within those socialists in furtherance of Total Revolution.

I fear that Egypt faces such a future.

Insurance companies know this because of their actuaries. These are the folks who tot up all the figures and come out with the facts. Harmons law though makes it illegal to discriminate on the basis of gender so charging young women less to insure their cars than young men is now illegal. Cheers Harriet, what a great legacy you left for the sisters. I expect that it is also now illegal to say that women have nicer tits.

Shiny David Cameron is to allow same sex marriages in religious institutions such as Churches, Synagogues and Temples complete with hymns, prayers and chanting.
We all know that "be allowed" will soon come to mean "be compelled" as the compensation monkeys get going through the courts but I have a cunning plan.
I'm going to convert to Islam, find a likeminded chap and when the local Mosque refuses to marry us, (and instead threatens to throw us from the mountain) SUE THEIR FUCKING ARSES OFF for discrimination!

That will make me rich enough to support the four spouses which Islam permits so I'll find three lady-wives to make it a happy fivesome and, of course, my man- wife will be entitled to three other spouses of his very own in any gender combination that he chooses.
